My New Favorite Staging Pieces

After I received the Anthropologie vase with the red flower on it for my birthday, I went back to the store and bought the gray one with the pansy on it.
These are so gorgeous, I just wanted to share.

You will get tired of seeing these staged with my furniture pieces...I'm sure of it:)

Happy Easter, my friends!

Mint Vintage Dresser

Mint is such a hot color this season, I had to get into it with my paint, also! I am seeing it in fashion, home decor and jewelry. This piece would be a show stopper in any room but I would especially LOVE to see it in a nursery paired with navy and white. Or, better yet, it would be gorgeous in a master bedroom with tons of white textured linens!

This new piece is listed on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.

Indigo Blue Dresser with Wooden Owl Knobs

As soon as I saw this piece, I knew I needed to paint one geared towards little fellas. I love the clean straight lines of this solid mid-century dresser. The drawers were perfect for this faux bois paper I've been dying to use. Then, I found these adorable wooden owl knobs...a little indigo paint and it's finished and ready for a rowdy little boy!

Photo taken from the upstairs landing.
Here's a close up of this chest "before" the transformation.

This piece is for sale on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.

Happy Sunday!

Is it Teal? Or Emerald?

This was such a fun piece to re-finish!
I could not decide if I wanted it teal, turquoise, or emerald...so, I mixed it all in one can to get this deep jewel toned shade.
The coral accents are like sweet little kisses to it;) and the peacock paper I added to the drawer fronts just makes my heart smile!

I was inspired by some of my favorite jewelry pieces for this color combination.

Robin's Egg Blue, Creme & Teal Triple Dresser

This piece is a custom painted order.  Sandra from Etsy saw a similar one I had painted in the past and wanted one as close to it as I could get.
Really hoping she adores it as much as I do!

Have a super Wednesday, friends!

Petite Antique Chest / Dresser in the Perfect Golden Yellow

I painted this as a custom piece for the world's great mom...MINE! We found the piece while out shopping one day and we both fell in love with the cute little feet and those killer tear drop pulls.  There is also a gorgeous mirror I plan to finish this week.  She plans to set it in their new entry area. This color will brighten the day of all that pass through:)
Take a look!

My parents are in love with Mexico...the resorts...the colors...the buildings, all of it!
This is their way of bringing some of it all home.

Teal & Yellow Vintage Dresser / Buffet

I just finished this piece for my parents.
The are moving tomorrow and plan to use this in their breakfast area.  It will compliment that round oak dining table that once belonged to my great grandmother.
I absolutely love the finished product and hope my parents enjoy it for many years to come!

Here's to a warm and delightful, new gorgeous home!
Cheers:)

Antique Dresser & Mirror In Exotic Red

This piece is a custom order for my friend, Janet.
It's been awhile since I have painted with red and it turned out to be a nice break from my usual color family of blue and green. This is a solid piece in mint vintage condition and I hope it makes my friend very happy!

Thank you so very much, Janet:)
