Charcoal Gray Vintage Cabinet with Tribal Accent Paper

This mid century cabinet turned out better than I expected!! I've stared at it for weeks in the store and finally it hit me... gray paint, black and white tribal paper and these great orange crab pulls! I can see this in a bathroom, an office, a playroom, or really just anywhere. It's a statement piece without being too obtrusive.

I added the two orange crab knobs for a more juvenile look but the buyer will be able to choose the original brass ones if they prefer.

Enjoy your week, my friends!

Antique Teal Sideboard Staged Outside

It's 81 degrees here in Oklahoma today! Woo hoo!  This temp is unheard of for this time of the year.  I decided to take full advantage of it though while also showing off this gorgeous fence my husband is building. Staging outside is so much different than inside and since I'm not a professional photographer, please don't judge;-) I think the photos turned out okay, I just wanted to make sure there was plenty of light on the buffet so the texture would be the star of this piece.

Seriously, that mirror may actually be the star of this buffet.

The fab hardware is from Anthropologie, of course.

I refinished the oak top instead of painting it this time.  I LOVE the variations in the grain, don't you?

This piece is available on my Etsy site, The Turquoise Iris.

I'm off to enjoy the rest of this day!!

Me with This Amazing Piece of Furniture

I haven't painted a piece like this in awhile. My creative side LOVES to paint this style, though. I realize the look now is more of a clean look without much variation but I think this look is timeless. Paint has always become chipped, worn and aged.

I took so many photos of this piece.  I chose my favorites - hope you enjoy!

Before & After Buffet with Tribal Accents

This was one of those shopping / searching weeks I wish would come every week! I found the styles of furniture I was looking for and starting planning makeovers even before I left the store.

These knobs are fabulous, right?!?!??! Anthropologie is the real M.V.P.!!

I found this tribal paper on Spoonflower and the hardware from Anthropologie. I custom mixed the paint color to pick up the clean fresh green shade from the arrows. I may have jumped up and down ( you'll never know ) when I found those feather knobs!

This piece is available on my ETSY SHOP as of today! I hope you all have a fun summer weekend!
