Emerald Green + Winter White + Wood + Anthropologie Knobs

Oh, how great art thou? This is truly a one of a kind piece! Your neighbors are already jealous that you are just "thinking" about buying this:)

The emerald green looks so bright and happy against the original wood top drawer. And, the winter white glossy paint on the original knobs and legs of this dresser give it an updated vintage modern look...perfect for your modern home! I added the 2 mod striped knobs from Anthropologie to add the perfect accessories.

This piece is now for sale and ready to purchase Here on my Etsy Shop, The Turquoise Iris!

Miss Mustard Seed Featured My Work Today!

Woohoo!!! So thrilled...to tears, actually.

I adore Marian with Miss Mustard Seed. She is one of the diy leaders of furniture makeovers.  Her latest work includes a book of her own, Inspired You, and now she even has her own milk paint line. And, for the last year, I have been linking up to her Friday Furniture Feature hoping she might like something I have painted, too.  And this week, she did:)  Thank you, Marian.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Take a look...right here!

Blue Two Toned Petite Dresser

Oh I Love this little two-toned dresser / chest!
Wouldn't it make a great piece for a nursery?

***

Hey! Are you loving that Santa painting as much as I am?
My brother in law painted it for me! Pretty cool, right?
Let me know if you want one, too:) He can do it in any color...the red looks amazing!

It's the perfect size for a changing table, too. I replaced the top 4 knobs with blue and white porcelain ones from Anthropologie (Beautiful) and kept the original brass pulls on the other 3 drawers.

What? More Emerald Green?

Oh yeah!!!
Check out this new one...

because one great thing leads to another:)

Emerald green is always a favorite! What a way to add tons of bold color and also gaining storage. Use in your bedroom, dining or living room.

I have sanded, primed and painted this piece in a glossy emerald green paint. I replaced all the pulls with these gorgeous mother of pearl ones. I kept the original brass hardware because I love the way they look with the green. Solid wood dresser in great vintage condition.

Happy Wednesday, my friends!

This is for sale here on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris!!

I was so excited to find this vintage piece last week!
It will make the perfect media cabinet for
someone who loves color and may not exactly
love having a television in the bedroom;)

This is a great modern way to dress up the
television that we
all have to have:)...emerald green glossy paint with new clear glass cabinet door pulls!
Beautiful gold accent frames the entire cabinet.
What a statement piece, right?

Big Sister Suited in Teal and Navy

So this is the "big sister" to the piece I finished last weekend.

I have turned this vintage phonograph cabinet into a modern day piece, to be used anywhere you need storage. All record pieces have been removed, the center has been turned in to a chalk board.

I replaced the old pulls with new GORGEOUS ones from Anthropologie.

Big Sis can be found here on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.

Getting The Best of Blue

This is truly a one of a kind...inspired by Pantone's, Monaco Blue, color for 2013, I hand mixed the colors myself to get the look I was after for this piece. The turquoise cracked glass knobs from Anthropologie inspired the two toned variation. I think the combination of the blues with the perfect amount of distressing make this piece a show stopper! Don't you agree?

And here, I styled it a bit more organic and less traditional.

This lovely thing is for sale here on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris:) Sorry...this piece is SOLD.

Hope your week is fun and plentiful!
