Vintage + French + Navy + Dresser

Isn't this the most beautiful shade of blue?!?!
This color was a "mis-tint" I found at the paint store.  Someone totally missed out, right?

The original hardware was almost black.  I thought the white would look more modern and clean so I painted the pulls ( which I rarely do ).

BEFORE & AFTER
Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Gray & White Hutch with Aviary Paper

I agree, this hutch was beautiful before I painted it. I waited almost 4 months to purchase it from the thrift shop...4 MONTHS!!! Nobody wanted it as is so I'm hoping now someone will want to have it in their home.

These knobs are from Anthropologie, paper from Spoonflower.

This was such a fun piece to work on.  I love all the details...I just tried to highlight all of it.

Happy Friday, Friends!

White & Chrome Midcentury Dresser Makeover

A customer brought me this piece to paint last week.  She and her husband are planning to use it as a TV console in their new home.  After meeting her ( she wears vintage turquoise cat glasses ) and visiting with her about her style and design sense, I'd LOVE to see her home!!

Bright White + Chrome Legs and Design + Tribal Drawer Liners

Here's some more work with the help from Frog Tape!  BAM!!!

I hope you all enjoy "before & after" shots as much as I do!!

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Bringing the Beach Home in Mint Green

They say if you can't get to the beach, why not bring it home to you.  Yes, I'm craving vacation and this year it's Florida! I found this paper a while ago and knew I needed a serpentine dresser to apply it to.  Pairing it with the colors in the sky makes this antique dresser the perfect piece for any home.  Mint is easy to coordinate and will add a warm feel to any space.

The new glass hardware has a copper tint to it.  This really pulls outs the sand color in the picture. I love how they pull the whole look together!

I hope you all enjoy this makeover!  I'm not quite done with the "beach theme".  You can expect to see a similar piece soon.

Ombre Hutch in Turquoise & Blue

I don't know why I even bother painting any other colors.  These make my heart sing. I removed the original doors for more versatility. Now this could be used as a book shelf in an office or playroom.

I made a big ugly mess in the garage, used 5 different colors, created a one of a kind piece of furniture and had a blast in the process! That's success in my book.

I've already received so much positive feedback today through social media.  I can't seem to thank you all enough for all the encouragement I receive on a daily basis. I am left feeling so motivated to continue this journey I'm on. This piece is available HERE on my Etsy shop.

I'm linking this makeover to Miss Mustard Seed's Friday Furniture Feature! Click the link and sit back and enjoy all the wonderful makeovers.

Thank you, Friends! T purchase this dresser, view it here on my Etsy shop, https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheTurquoiseIris?ref=hdr_shop_menu
