Summer Haven Art Series - Originals

It's go time!

YOU are invited to preview AND shop my art release,
 Summer Haven, before anyone else!
Many of you asked if I'd offer a pre-sale or pre-release. Being the hustler, ie...crazy person, that I am, I have my new paintings all set and ready to purchase, so I figured why wait?

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. cst Saturday, April 29th, my art will be available to purchase,
www.theturquoiseiris.com

This series is  very special to me and
it reflects my favorite season. The words summer haven may mean many different things or places to people. I tried to touch on my personal most favorites. All of my precious moments are shared with family and friends.

I hope you find a piece that will take you back to a special place or remind you of a memory. Better yet, maybe you'll grab your computer and book your next summer vacation.

Bless you all for your continued support and loyalty.

Art Sneak Peek & A Farmhouse Hutch Makeover

SPRING HAS
ARRIVED & SUMMER IS
GAINING MOMENTUM

( finally )

What does "Summer Haven" mean to you?

To me, it means relaxing. I don't care where really but the beach always calls my name.

My newest art series is a little bit water, a little bit sky and a whole lot of blue.

I am so excited to show you what I've been working on.

May 6th is the release date!!

My Blooming Botanicals series sold very well and I'm over the moon with excitement.
Thanks to all of you that continue to support and encourage me.
You are awesome!

Now, on to this makeover.
Last week, I showed you a little paint tip on my Facebook page.

Are you looking at this piece, I mean really seeing the details and uniqueness here?

I used all products from CeCe Caldwell's Paints for this makeover.  They make a beautiful gray but I didn't have one in stock at the time so I made my own by mixing Beckley Coal and Nantucket Spray. I also used Beaufort Blue and Thomasville Teal for the accent colors.

While I was working on this piece, some clients stopped by to look at a piece I had for sale.  Instead, they bought this hutch before I even had it finished.  I love when that happens!! They promised to send photos, which I will share when I receive them.

This week should be busy but fun.  I have an armoire I'm getting started on. I'll also be finishing up my art series and creating marketing material.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!!
