Turquoise Heavily Distressed Antique Dresser

I certainly understand that this look is not for all, but when I saw this piece, I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. This antique chest is at least 100 years old and solid wood. My inspiration was to duplicate a piece of stone...real turquoise, not man-made. Turquoise is my personal favorite and it's perfectly flawed...like most of us. I hope you love my interpretation.

The glass knobs were a contribution from my mom...she's good, right?
I am loving all the texture going on in the shot!
 Picture taken from upstairs.

This jewel is for sale here on my Etsy shop,

Here is the before shot...the one on the right.

  5. Love the look you gave this piece and such a pretty colour, too! I recently painted a dresser with milk paint, and it ended up being pretty chippy... when my mom saw it, she asked me what I was going to do with that piece.
