Mint Green French Provincial Dresser

This piece was selected and painted for the Ratcliff's. It's for their little girl's room and will be combined with turquoise and raspberry. Seems I've been doing a lot of little girl dressers lately. Anyone else notice that? Hmmm...
Anyway, I always love this shade of mint green.  It's warm and happy and still very fresh looking.  Paired with this style, it's a statement piece for sure!

And, not to be forgotten this time;)Here's the before photo...

Turquoise Heavily Distressed Antique Dresser

I certainly understand that this look is not for all, but when I saw this piece, I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. This antique chest is at least 100 years old and solid wood. My inspiration was to duplicate a piece of stone...real turquoise, not man-made. Turquoise is my personal favorite and it's perfectly flawed...like most of us. I hope you love my interpretation.

The glass knobs were a contribution from my mom...she's good, right?
I am loving all the texture going on in the shot!

This jewel is for sale here on my Etsy shop,

Vintage Set of Two Mint Green Tables

Love, love, love when I find a "set" of furniture!
Pair these with this color and I'm completely smitten.
I painted these and lightly distressed, now they're ready for to add charm and color to some little one's room.
Check out the "after" photos.

These can be found for sale on my Etsy shop,

Make it a good one, friends;)

Mint Vintage Dresser

Mint is such a hot color this season, I had to get into it with my paint, also! I am seeing it in fashion, home decor and jewelry. This piece would be a show stopper in any room but I would especially LOVE to see it in a nursery paired with navy and white. Or, better yet, it would be gorgeous in a master bedroom with tons of white textured linens!

This new piece is listed on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.
