Happy Friday, everyone!!!
Flea market find....blond retro dresser. :(
I am loving the hardware most, the shape is awesome and I know I can do something with it to bring it in to 2012.
Here is the "before" See what I mean?
This retro mid century dresser drips with coolness! I would love to keep this one, place in front of my turquoise entry wall and hang a vibrant piece of art above it. But, I must sell;)
I have sanded, primed and painted this dresser in sunshine yellow using Benjamin Moore Paints. Use anywhere in your home for style and impact! It's definitely a show piece. I could see it in your bedroom but also think you could us it as a tv console in a modern living room.
Thanks for viewing!
I am going to really enjoy these last few days of summer before the boys have to go back to school.
Hope you do, too!
Your link just popped out at me on Miss Mustard Seed's. This piece is so fantastic. I love the color so much and paired w/ that rug and lampshade it is just perfect. I am always so impressed by your makeovers.

ReplyDeleteI love it! I was at the BM store last weekend checking out yellows for my dresser - what is the name of this color?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. What an incredible transformation. I just love , love it! It's perfect, what a good colour choice!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm new to your blog. I found this particular post via Simple Design a while ago. I would really like to get a sample of the beautiful color you used on this dresser. I was just wondering...is the name of the color "Sunshine" from Benjamin Moore? Thanks in advance for any response.
