Before & After Buffet with Tribal Accents

This was one of those shopping / searching weeks I wish would come every week! I found the styles of furniture I was looking for and starting planning makeovers even before I left the store.

These knobs are fabulous, right?!?!??! Anthropologie is the real M.V.P.!!

I found this tribal paper on Spoonflower and the hardware from Anthropologie. I custom mixed the paint color to pick up the clean fresh green shade from the arrows. I may have jumped up and down ( you'll never know ) when I found those feather knobs!

This piece is available on my ETSY SHOP as of today! I hope you all have a fun summer weekend!

"Ballard Inspired " Vintage Rolling Cart With Extensions

This piece is timeless and classic. It took me some time to decide on my color choice.  I actually consulted my Instagram followers for advise and input.  Gray was the top suggestion. This is a blue / gray that will work in well with other colors.  It's neutral enough to blend but special as a statement piece, too.

This will extend from 41" to 70" when both sides are open.

Happy Monday!!

Blue Ikat with White and Gold

Give me ikat, give me blue and white, and give me gold? You have me forever! I love this designer combination. This finished piece reminds me of a coastal beach house right out of Serena & Lily catalog.

I've painted the base a creamy white and highlighted the feet by adding a shimmering gold. Hardware has been painted the same gold. I added the designer ikat paper to the drawer fronts for a unique one of a kind look!

This piece is looking for a home!  You can check it out HERE. I hope some sunshine finds it way to you today! Happy weekend:-)

Vintage Red Buffet

This is a custom painted piece for The Lasley's.  They are currently building a new home and are hoping to add some color and charm to their new dining space.  This should do the trick.

I am always searching for a way to add an artistic punch to my furniture pieces.  The peacock paper on the inside here adds an unexpected element and completes the "one of a kind" look I'm always after.

Hope everyone enjoys this little furniture makeover as much as I have!

Triple Vintage Dresser in Teal & Robin's Egg Blue

I painted this piece as a custom order for Brandi in Victoria, TX.  I always love this color combination and this hardware...well, it speaks for itself.  Have a look!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Vintage Dresser in Cobalt Chevron

Inspired by our family marlin, I painted this piece in Benjamin Moore's "Ole Blue Eyes".
I love the way the original bronze hardware perfectly compliments this shade of blue. And, the chevron...well, it's just cool!

This is paper applied to the drawers.  It's actually navy and white, but the blue pulls a brighter color when paired together. My 8 year old actually advised me on which drawers to cover and which to paint:)  I love his input!

Hope you all enjoy the Dad's in your lives today!
Have fun!!

Vintage Yellow Dresser Distressed & Accented with Teal

I've been craving yellow, although I think it's actual sunshine I've been after, this color makes me just as happy.  This dresser was pretty boring but in mint condition so I gave it a make over in yellow with teal accents.
Whatcha think?

This combination of rustic and glitz reminds me of denim and cashmere...sophisticated comfort.

This piece is for sale on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.

And, here is a before picture.
Just sitting there calling my name, wink...wink!

Teal Vintage Dresser / Buffet

I custom painted this piece for Erin of NJ.  She bought a yellow piece from me recently and wanted some color for her dining area as well. Hope she loves this!!

I also added these 2 cracked glass knobs from Anthroplolgie...in case this piece isn't dramatic enough...wink, wink;)

I found these lamps at a thrift shop for $6.98 for both and painted them this happy sunny yellow gloss.  I thought I'd just use them for staging, bit I think I really like them with my peacock shades.

This piece was already pretty great before...
take a look!

Emerald Green Buffet / Dresser Distressed & a Shot of Cobalt & Feathers

I know I posted too many photos, but I couldn't help myself.  This piece has so many details that couldn't be left out. See what I mean?

I've been dying to use my peacock chair to stage a piece...they are perfect together!

In case you're wondering...I used 4 colors on this piece!

 Love this image...
