White & Chrome Midcentury Dresser Makeover

A customer brought me this piece to paint last week.  She and her husband are planning to use it as a TV console in their new home.  After meeting her ( she wears vintage turquoise cat glasses ) and visiting with her about her style and design sense, I'd LOVE to see her home!!

Bright White + Chrome Legs and Design + Tribal Drawer Liners

Here's some more work with the help from Frog Tape!  BAM!!!

I hope you all enjoy "before & after" shots as much as I do!!

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Mid Century Tuxedo Dresser With an Edge

The hardware on this dresser screamed, "Make me dramatic and pretty"! I listened and L-O-V-E this new crisp modern look of it.
Check it out!

This vintage dresser is the perfect size for any room and is so special with the glossy dark paint vs. the distressed white finish on the 4 drawers. The original brass hardware really pulls this piece together! And, we must not forget the pop of yellow hiding out on the drawers!

I have sanded, primed and painted this piece and it's now ready for you a new place to flaunt it's stuff. Use this in your bedroom, entry, foyer, dining room or even in a babies nursery. The dark color is the perfect shade...not quite black so it feels less stark against the white drawers.

Now....here's the "before" pics

Pretty rough, huh?

This dresser can be purchased

Have a wonderful day!

ONE DRESSER, STYLED 3 WAYS

I just finished this dresser last night and began styling
it this morning.  I can't decide which way I like best,
so I'm sharing three different ways.
See what you think!
I would LOVE to hear the style you prefer:)
First, here is the before...

And after...

"Preppy Chic"

Or...

"Modern Eclectic"

Lastly...
"Youthful Mod"

It's always so fun for me to play around with different accessories and see how many vignettes I can come up with, especially for dressers!
What's your favorite?
As usual, this piece is now for sale
on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris!
