Check Out This Shop!

Friends, I am consigning some of my furniture at this awesome eclectic shop in downtown Norman, OK off Main Street.  Laura and her staff are amazing and the shop looks completely different every week!  If you are ever in the area, go check it out.  The address is 325 E. Main St, 405-579-9790

Follow their Facebook page Robinson's Repurposed Eclectic Marketplace to see new pieces added daily!

Mid Century Tango with Tangerine Dresser

It's spicy, sweet, sour and salty all in one!!

I love this fresh happy color on the mid century dresser.  I used a sunshine yellow and combined it with a "mis-tint" coral shade I bought for $2.00 at Ace Hardware.  I saw a piece painted by Rhino Restoration, admired the color and did my best to mix something pretty close.

I always have to mix it up a bit, can't help myself. This gray and white paper on the drawers really pops off the tangerine.

This wall covering is from Urban Outfitters.  They sell tons and they are inexpensive.

My pretty white "thrift store" giraffe is so cool.  She makes everything look better!

New in the Shop

I admit, I've been lazy lately.  Posting to my blog has been pushed aside.  After I paint, stage and photograph a piece I list it on Facebook, Instagram, Etsy and Craigslist.  After all that, posting on the blog sometimes doesn't make it.  But, I am back on board and I'm planning on sharing more in depth postings including more behind the scene shots and instructions (as asked from by so many) So please be patient with me.

Here are some latest projects.  Hope you enjoy!

If you don't already follow me on Facebook and / or Instagram @theturquoiseiris, head over there and like me or love me but please don't laugh at me;-)

Happy Monday evening, Friends!
