Navy Blue Hutch with Decoupage Drawers

I'm convinced paint as magical powers.  Look how simply it transforms the ordinary and brings new life to a discarded "garage sale find".

It's hard to see from this photo, but I added a white wash finish to the interior of the cabinet.

The drawers are covered in paper.  I custom mixed these two paint colors to coordinate and I love how the image pulls the whole look together.

Dark Blue and Gold Antique Cabinet

Isn't she lovely? This color is a "mis-tint" I bought from Lowe's.  I'm not sure why the person didn't want this particular color, but it worked out for me very nicely.  This shade of blue is classic and timeless, don't you think? I added the gold to enhance the braid work on the cabinet doors.  

This piece sold before I had a chance to paint it!  I really wanted to use this color again and lucky for me,  my client agreed on the color. Hope you enjoy!

Ombre` Buffet in Shades of Green

Being a furniture artist / painter is so much fun for me!  I get to paint fun and original pieces like this buffet.  Seriously, pinch me now!

The Royal Blue Peacock Buffet

I present to you, Her Royal Peacock.  

This piece turned out very dramatic.  The blue, with the gold, combined with the peacock makes for quite an appearance! 

I think she is just. so. lovely.

This is a poster applied to the doors, not paint.  I sold this piece before I could even post this but I still wanted to share it.
