Retro Dresser in Modern Blue & Silver

I painted this piece with a fun modern nursery in mind.  I love the retro look of it and the modern graphic paper in gray and white compliments it well. This piece is for sale on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.

Vintage Armoire in Tiffany Blue

I have a new piece available today and I am loving the colors.  I used these gorgeous knobs from Anthropologie for my color inspiration and mixed various paint colors to get two that compliment perfectly.

Looking forward to the days of "green grass". That brown dead stuff doesn't make for very pretty photos! Happy week, Everyone:-)

Mid Century Modern Dresser in Silver and Gold

Check out my latest!

I love the warm silver finish and the knobs...well,

I bought this piece because of the hardware!!

I added this graphic paper to the 3 hidden drawers.

This piece is for sale on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.

Next up...an emerald green Mid Century Dresser!

Happy weekend, Friends!!

I know it's bold, I know it's different and I know it's not for everyone.  But, I love it...Absolutely and completely.  And, if it doesn't sale, I get to keep it!!

I found this paper and knew this piece would be getting to know this print very well.  I love the insets with the gold trimmed pieces. It's a "One of a Kind" for sure.

Here is what the buffet looked like before I started the makeover.

I'll be sharing this before and after with Marion over at Miss Mustard Seed's Friday Furniture Features.

Vintage Red Buffet

This is a custom painted piece for The Lasley's.  They are currently building a new home and are hoping to add some color and charm to their new dining space.  This should do the trick.

I am always searching for a way to add an artistic punch to my furniture pieces.  The peacock paper on the inside here adds an unexpected element and completes the "one of a kind" look I'm always after.

Hope everyone enjoys this little furniture makeover as much as I have!

Linking up to Miss Mustard Seed this week for the Furniture Feature Friday!

Rustic Modern Vintage Dresser

Ok friends! I just finished this heirloom dresser for the Votaw family. They will have a new addition to their family in January. The nursery is a rustic modern Navajo vibe. One wall of the room has the coolest wallpaper with rows of large arrows. ***We need your help though for pull ideas. The clients are trying out their DIY skills with some leather strap ones, but would LOVE to get any feedback with your ideas!! Enjoy!!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Turquoise French Bedroom Set

This bedroom set belonged to my client's grandmother. She wanted me to paint it for her 7 year old daughter's bedroom in their new home.  Miss Carsyn loves all things turquoise...think I got this one right;)

It is always such an honor when someone chooses me to paint furniture but even more so when it has been in the family for so many years.  Sweet Carsyn came over to me today with big squeezy hugs and said, "I love my furniture"!

I love me job!!
